Earthquake Drill
Provides guidance for conducting and preparing an emergency response plan and drill regimen in a school. However, contributing factors, such as a school's locality and its structural strength, play an important role in determining the most effective emergency response plan for the school. For this reason, this lesson by no means provides a complete or appropriate guidance to emergency plan preparation for every school. Whenever possible, have the emergency response plan developed in this lesson reviewed by appropriate school authorities, emergency specialists, research scientists, administrative planners, and other members of the community.
