1 Mga Taga-Corinto 1:6-7
Even as the testimony of Christ
was confirmed in you,
So that ye come behind in no gift;
waiting for the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh,
but after the Spirit.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
As it is written in the law of the Lord,
Every male that openeth the womb shall be
called holy to the Lord.
Sapagkat nasusulat sa Kautusan ng Panginoon, “Ang bawat panganay na lalaki ay kailangang ihandog sa Panginoon.”
Pakatandaan ninyo na darating ang panahon, at ngayon na nga, na maririnig ng mga patay ang tinig ng Anak ng Diyos at ang sinumang makinig sa kanya ay mabubuhay.
Kaya nga, hindi na hahatulang maparusahan ang mga taong nakipag-isa na kay Cristo Jesus.
Gaya ng pinagtibay sa inyo ang patotoo ni Cristo,
Ano pa't kayo'y hindi nagkulang sa anomang kaloob;
na nagsisipaghintay ng paghahayag
ng ating Panginoong Jesucristo.
