For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
“Noong panahon ni Noe, ako ay sumumpang hindi na mauulit na ang mundong ito'y gunawin sa tubig. Aking ipinapangako ngayon, hindi na ako magagalit sa iyo, at hindi na kita paparusahan muli.
I am come to send fire on the earth;
and what will I, if it be already kindled?
“Naparito ako upang magdala ng apoy sa lupa at sana'y nagliliyab na ito!
